Chapter One

(1734–1750, Era of Eternal Flame) Belle Brande was born different. Everyone thought she was an unruly child.
She would cry and fuss, doing senseless things. She was like a wild child in desperate need of discipline. Thankfully, a passing doctor treated her. Otherwise, her family would have been completely lost.
When Belle started school, she struggled with both academics and sports. Her "clumsiness" often caused problems for others, leading to various mishaps. Though her classmates tried to help, she would squander their efforts in odd ways. A deep sense of inferiority took hold, making her increasingly withdrawn.
A passing Nova said, "Faith brings salvation. If you have faith without doubt, whatever you pray for will be granted."
Belle's father was distant, but her mother cared for her lovingly. They also told Belle to have faith in Lord Deity.
Like any child, young Belle believed everything she was told. She found comfort in her faith. Through it, she gained hope that she could improve. It might not happen right away, but with strong faith, it would happen eventually.
She revered Lord Deity with deep devotion, valuing even the simplest things. Yet, her life remained unchanged. She faced tests, observed revelations, and marked sacred moments, but none brought results.
Yet, she refused to give up. She kept trying to please Lord Deity. Eventually, they told her that Lord Deity's love and mercy apply to everyone, but manifest differently—some experience it as health and luck, others as illness and misfortune.
She quickly embraced these signs. Approaching Lord Deity's statue, her body remained stiff, her arms and hands heavy. Yet, Belle sensed the beauty in imperfection, felt a sacrificial urge, and her eyes gleamed.
This imperfection was an offering, and the success it would bring would surpass others. By dedicating it to Lord Deity, Belle Brande would gain everyone's respect.
Her dream made her flaws sacred. Belle worked hard every day to become the ideal servant she envisioned.

Chapter Two

At 16, Bella was summoned and assigned by the Sanctuary. She left home for Midgard City, feeling both anxious and hopeful, and soon found her place in the workforce.
As a waitress in a humble eatery, Bella viewed her job as a calling. However, she often fumbled, spilling wine, breaking dishes, and colliding with patrons.
Soiled garments, injuries, disrupted meals, and halted work... her only possible response was a feeble, "I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry..."
Bella loathed her clumsiness and felt foolish. A glimpse in a puddle made her wish she hadn't looked.
At times like this, Bella envisioned being a clown, donning oversized shoes and colorful outfits, with a painted face and a big red nose.
Having seen clowns tumble in the circus, Bella felt no need for practice; mishaps were effortless, yet her reality stayed the same.
Clowns were skilled and deliberate in their actions, while Bella felt burdened by her failures, always apologizing and seeing herself as inherently flawed.
Struggling at work, Bella switched jobs frequently, rarely staying more than six months. She aimed to not be a burden, a hard goal to reach.
Her dream of an anonymous life in the sacred city crumbled before it began; she fell ill with bulimia.
Each episode threw Bella into chaos—people fell, dishes shattered, and food flew. "You can't eat anymore, you'll burst!" someone shouted. "Hold her down!"
Belle grew more timid and isolated, always on the brink of tears. Yet she clung to her belief in salvation, her faith in suffering overshadowing her hope.
Yet she remained a burden to others; her work made it inevitable.
On the day of her legally mandated marriage, she surprisingly made no mistakes and caused no disruptions at all.
Yet one perfect day couldn't outweigh a lifetime of struggle; others believed she was bound to fail.
Beset by an unending and dizzying array of misfortunes, her body grew weary, her spirit listless.
She often seemed overwhelmed, like a fish out of water, burdened by a life of misfortune and illness.
Perhaps true, unwavering faith is a myth; after this thought took hold, her vibrant passion began to lose its glow.
Before long, she forgot the ever-present Lord Deity; her prayers turned into mere formalities, and she felt regret as she blamed herself for veering off her path.
Reality quickly snuffed out her briefly rekindled devotion, labeling her unfit for work and unsuitable for marriage and children.
Would she be stuck as a child forever? No, she couldn't go back to that awkward little girl.
Her destiny felt like a farce, depending on clumsy Belle to fix her mistakes. She couldn't manage it; faith alone wouldn't change her fate, and without faith, belief became fear.
After losing her beliefs, Belle's connection to the world weakened, and the unsettling changes within her deepened her distress.
She moved more slowly, her confidence waning, as if a hidden illness lurked within. She felt something was off but was unsure how to address it.
"What does life mean?" she thought. Despite living fully, luck never came, and she complained of stagnation. In truth, she had long given up on new beginnings.
Bathed in sunshine, the sacred city felt stifling to Belle. She sensed deception and nursed a vague grievance that simmered inside her.

Chapter Three

Thirsty and hungry, Belle encountered a talking white bunny dressed like a clown, holding a peculiar calendar. She spoke with the bunny and sampled the food it offered.
With nothing else to occupy her, Belle awaited the bunny's return the next day. The bunny reminded her of someone she knew, but she quickly dismissed the thought as absurd—how could she possibly know a bunny? However, she felt certain that the bunny could "save" her.
When the bunny arrived, it told Belle she was the chosen one and invited her to its world, called the Wonder World of Beasts. Tempted by the bunny's description, Belle agreed without hesitation.
She followed the bunny through the streets as the surroundings transformed: pillars turned into trees, the ground became grassy, and soon squirrels and sparrows began chattering in the branches. The structures around her faded away, and Belle felt herself regressing to a childlike state.
Eventually, the bunny led her to a deep hole, where she fell into a fantastic new realm.
In this world, a cat lady appeared and disappeared at will, never showing herself in the presence of the bunny. There was also a gigantic but gentle beast and a pelican doctor who shrank to the size of a caterpillar after consuming a mushroom. He flew with a dandelion umbrella and sought ways to regain his size and take revenge on Belle. Everything here was amusingly peculiar.
Belle interacted with various strange creatures and became their Queen. She howled at the moon like wolves, leaped through the woods like a squirrel, and patrolled the forest with her animal friends. She enacted a new law forbidding bullying.
The bullies opposed her, claiming that the jungle's laws should remain unchanged, while the oppressed argued that it was natural for the weak to be preyed upon by the strong. Belle firmly stated, "Don't be foolish! I am the strongest. You are all weak. Thus, I will be the only bully from now on!"
She assigned tasks and established a hereditary job system, including roles for recording her deeds and raising fish for food.
The pelican doctor burst in at dawn, yelling his hatred for Belle, which bored her. Thus, she decided to resign as Queen of the forest. Despite the creatures' desperate attempts to keep her—roaring, scraping their teeth, glaring with fierce eyes, and waving sharp claws—Belle bid farewell and embarked on another adventure.
In an open field, she met the bunny again. It informed her of a brutal dragon queen who tyrannically demanded the bunny's execution.
Determined to overthrow the tyrant and liberate the oppressed creatures, including the bunny, the cat lady, the gentle giant, the caterpillars, the strange beasts, and the vengeful pelican, Belle strategized with the bunny about returning to her original world. She aimed to prove her worth as the chosen one by collecting local specialties and securing provisions for an army.
The bunny suggested that stealing would be the most effective method, cleverly convincing Belle to go along with its plan.
In a large warehouse filled with stolen food, Belle encountered some impoverished animals. Following the bunny's advice, she shared her mushrooms with them, bringing joy to their lives.
Excited about making new friends, Belle felt disheartened when a big black fox and a hound invaded the warehouse, resulting in the loss of both her food and newfound companions. The bunny assured her that they would devise a plan to rescue the animals, albeit not all of them at once.
In a vast garden behind a small door, Belle and her friends began their efforts to push and carry…
