Overview

A princess from Bear Cave, she lost her father in the Purge War and her mother followed him in death. Thanks to her master's guidance, she didn't face much hardship. Recklessly venturing into human society, she caused many tragedies, but these experiences helped her grow.

Chapter One

(22300–22350, Era of Rebirth) She was Lyman Bill's younger sister, the Bear King. Her father perished in the first Purge War, and her mother adhered to the Doomhammer's funeral tradition.
Due to the clan's careful attention, Sandy was keen to prove herself capable, leading to amusing mishaps.
As Sandy matured, she grasped the idea of parents. It was then that Lumira, a simple-looking woman hired by Lyman as her teacher, entered her life.
With Lumira's help, Sandy excelled in combat and learned about the harsh realities beyond Bear Cave, where humans killed and enslaved Orccodros.
Peace came at a cost of lives. The ongoing Purge War spelled doom for the Orccodros, and Sandy's brother was seldom seen.
Young Orccodros thought everyone was kind. Despite occasional issues with her brother, she believed talking could solve any problem.

Chapter Two

Defying bans, Sandy quietly entered human society. The girl, fluent only in Laqutte, quickly discovered the depth of human hostility toward Orccodros.
Few believed the noble Yagol needed to talk to the Orccodros. Even the Elves, despite their longevity, were seen as half-breeds, with northern barbarians regarded as far superior..
The young Bear Girl had acquired skills from Lumira but lacked combat experience. She was captured after numerous pursuits, while Lyman's roar resonated in the Bear Cave.
Humans swiftly learned of the Bear King's sister's disappearance, and their intelligence network soon found Sandy. It was her first sighting of Ailata Hoven, the Vermilion Knight.
The young human's gentle nature was unexpected for one who had killed his father and defeated his master and brother, inspiring fear among Orccodros.
Sandy shared her belief in harmony between Orccodros and humans, which he received with a gentle smile. Eventually, he spoke with reverence about his father and grandfather.
Sandy felt hopeful about human coexistence—until she witnessed her brother being shredded by Hoven's steed, "Frostfang."
Realizing the Bear Cave heir wouldn't fight, Hoven took Sandy back to the Orccodro settlement.
Overwhelmed, the young Bear Girl was shattered, haunted by Hoven's smile and Frostfang's maw threatening to devour her soul.
Flight was her only option. With the Bear King dead, the Orccodros fell into chaos, leaving them vulnerable as the indifferent Long Ears drove many to seek refuge in the Bear Cave.
Her brother and mentor had warned her; generations of animosity couldn't be mended with words. For now, the Orccodros could only escape.
Her mentor inspired the Orccodros with a vision of Elgron, a land beyond the Storm Seas where humans couldn't reach them. His determination reignited the young Bear Girl's strength.
Sandy, heir to the Bear Cave, inspired the Orccodros, using her experiences to urge leaders to let go of false security and prepare for Elgron.
Her mentor and the Orccodros transformed, enduring the energy maelstroms, but only a few ultimately reached Elgron.

Chapter Three

In their quest for an eternal haven for their descendants, many Orccodros fell behind and were lost on the journey. It was the tireless inspiration of Lumira and Sandy that lifted their kin out of despair.
Upon their weary arrival in Elgron, Lumira collapsed.
"My little Bear Girl, chief of the Orccodros, show no one your tears."
Sandy, hardened by hardship, quelled multiple rebellions. She became more like the gentle Vermilion Knight, feared as the formidable chief of the Doomhammer clan to her enemies, while remaining the kind-hearted bear girl to her people.
Fulfilling her mentor's last wish, Sandy encouraged the Orccodros to discard their racial biases and established the Obsidian Council, laying the foundation for ten millennia of governance in Elgron. Thus, the Orccodros began their journey toward unity.
"Tribal hatred could not be swayed by mere words."
She observed, "Only time can heal such wounds."
Ten millennia later, a young Orccodro sovereign of the Doomhammer lineage disbanded the Obsidian Council, forging an alliance with the humans of Ciaran to combat the dragons that plagued Mirren.

Historical Notes

Bear Cave:
Located in southeast Ciaran near the Storm Seas, Bear Cave was once a key site for Orccodros.

The Wavechants:
A coalition of aquatic races and a leading force in the Obsidian Council.

Lumira:
Lumira (22271–22306, Era of Rebirth), once a Cloud Whale, commanded the Colossus Legion. After being defeated by Ailata Hoven, the Vermilion Knight, at the Battle of Poplar River, she hid in the south with the Bills under a false identity.

The Great Migration:
After losing the First Purge War, Orccodro survivors fled to Bear Cave in southern Ciaran. With the Wavechants' help, they crossed the Storm Seas, seeking the refuge of Elgron.

Lyman Bill:
Lyman Bill (22286–22306, Era of Rebirth), the young Bear King and brother to Sandy, had no legitimate heirs despite fathering nine illegitimate children. His death left the clan in turmoil over succession.

Ailata Hoven
Ailata Hoven (22281–22335, Era of Rebirth), the Vermilion Knight and sister to Mad Gorgon III, led the Radiance Legion through two Purge Wars, establishing Yagol dominance in Ciaran. Disguised as a man, she hid her gender for decades, fooling Sandy into believing she was a delicate-featured male.

Storm Seas:
Formed during the Ancient War, Elgron and Ciaran were once one landmass. The destruction of Cecily tore them apart, creating the energy-filled Storm Seas.

Rebellion:
After the Bear King's death without an heir, his nine illegitimate sons led three failed uprisings to overthrow Sandy. The first, led by eldest son Shute Baster, allied with the Wavechant but ended with his death. Lette Baster's second rebellion involved his father's loyalists but resulted in a violent purge. The third, led by Cayman Baster, was a failed assassination attempt, ending in his suicide. In Mirren, illegitimate children don't share the family name. In Elgron, they use "Baster," while in Ciaran or the Zinew Archipelago, "Igmat" is common.
