Overview

She cultivated extraordinary herbal acumen by mending her exuberant sister's wounds when they were younger. As she got older, she become engaged in innumerable conflicts that allowed her to hone her craft into an art. Ameth is a healer in the truest sense and remains committed to her charge regardless of who they may be.

Chapter One

(24249–24332, Era of Rebirth) Ameth, the youngest daughter of Jackal King Harold, was born in Hinan in 1802 after the Conquest.
Ameth's older sister was the famous Princeton. The sisters were inseparable, with Ameth being the more strategic and steady one.
Ciaran had been under the Deepsea Sovereign's harsh rule for two years, which was even harsher than his predecessor's.
Orccodros' status fell to its lowest, but Princeton always sought the best for Ameth. She vowed never to forget her sister's hardships, though Ameth claimed to have no memory of them.
When Princeton was 11, she and Ameth were envoys for their tribe, escorted to the City of Order. Despite their father's efforts, the sisters, daughters of the settlement leader, weren't allowed into the banquet hall.
Harold kept raising his stakes to sway the nobles, but no one cared about the Orccodros.
Young Princeton didn't understand, but kept traveling between the settlement and Loisford. Their father insisted they had a duty as his daughters for the Orccodros' welfare. So even when Ameth got sick, Princeton obeyed.
As Princeton matured, she realized the situation. Wild and free Orccodros groveling for acceptance—how absurd!
The most absurd part was that every orccodro accepted it. Princeton disagreed and resolved to change this era.
To ease her guilt about Ameth, which was her redemption and lifelong obsession, Princeton always aimed to give her younger sister the best.

Chapter Two

Her sister, the relentless achiever, returned with scars and unwanted spoils, but Ameth always felt the need to protect her foolish grin; these feelings stayed with her forever.
Ameth learned to keep medicinal herbs handy due to her sister's impulsiveness; Princeton's strong build meant the occasional wounds were never a major issue.
Enhanced by herbs, Princeton became fiercer in battle, wielding strength that surpassed any beast; without her staff, even the nobles' skulls might crumble at her touch.
Upon hearing of Velarra's discord, Princeton was stirred, but Ameth quickly understood her sister's intentions, advising her not to act hastily. Hinan's power alone was too weak to face Velarra.
Their father disagreed with their plans; they needed other tribes to challenge Velarra. Despite Orccodros' disunity, they could still unite.
Ameth often criticized Princeton's actions, but when she understood her sister's desires, she wholeheartedly supported her. To Ameth, Princeton was like a spirited child, possessing determination she lacked.
As the Heavenly Realm watched, change neared. Distant angels, unhappy with Velarra's fading faith, sought earthly representatives. That's when Homura discovered Ameth.
"A true leader must embody optimism to withstand challenges and pursue deep desires with unwavering perseverance. Sadly, I am not such a leader."
"Princeton shall shoulder this noble quest in your stead."

Chapter Three

\u3000Using her potion knowledge, Ameth and her team successfully rescue the Prophet, who will help the Orccodros establish their homeland.
Ameth's judgment is undeniably sound, proven through countless battles. Princeton is a natural leader; even in dire times, her optimism uplifts those around her.
As the war unfolds, the two sisters become the Prophet's closest allies. Unlike the warm-hearted Princeton, Ameth views the Prophet as someone to serve.
The Prophet rescues the Orccodros from despair, guiding them to create a beautiful home. Ameth dreams of a Hilbeyan Empire that embraces inclusivity.
There will be no racial strife here, and everyone will share common beliefs. Both Jancis and the Prophet are meant to bring hope, not chaos.
However, the Prophet must leave them early due to age and illness. Princeton, the elder sister, feels sorrow every day. But Ameth knows they have something precious to protect: the nation built alongside the Prophet. Ameth will safeguard Hilbeyan.
This nation is a legacy from two extraordinary individuals.
Ameth tells her sister, "I have a great memory, sister. But I've never blamed our father for his actions, so please don't feel guilty for not being able to protect us."

Historical Notes

Loisford:
Named after the founding monarch Helois, Loisford is the capital of the Kingdom of Velarra, situated at the convergence of the White and Lir Rivers on the Nibisi Plains.

Regarding Yetannia:
Ameth's loyalty to Yetannia was more profound than that to Jancis. During her tenure as regent, the statues she commissioned of Yetannia far surpassed those of Jancis in scale. Ameth always believed that while the deities might one day forsake Orccodros, Yetannia never would.

Conquest Year:
The Conquest Year was a chronology established by Arthur Talyr during the Era of Rebirth (22430–22470), marking Velarra's complete conquest of Ciaran. Arthur believed his achievements equaled or even surpassed those of the founding monarch, Helois. Thus, he designated the year 22447 of Era of Rebirth, the year he conquered the continent, as the inaugural year of the Era of Conquest. This system has been adopted by certain historians and remained in use by the Kingdom of Velarra.
