Chapter One
(Era of Rebirth 22342–Era of Frost Veil 18194) Born in Whispering Town on the Nibisi Plains, Hamira was the daughter of a famous weapon smith, with her mother Ael managing the household.
With her father's skilled craftsmanship, Hamira's family lived well. They could afford bribes when officials came to conscript, ensuring Hamira a happy childhood.
Weapons were tools of killing, and while the continent was in constant conflict, Hamira never understood her father's work because their town was far from the front lines.
Even in the happiest families, quarrels happened. Hamira's talent was in easily persuading her parents to reconcile.
These minor issues weren't the Elvoos' main concern. Their biggest worry was their daughter's slow growth, which deeply troubled her father.
In this war-torn era, peace was brief. The Yagols fought relentlessly, but after two purges, they were weakened, and the northern ice tribes watched them greedily.
In 22351 of the Era of Rebirth, Helois, the Crown of the Frozen Peak, was crowned in Heron. The Velarras' prayers reached the heavens, and Helois received divine blessings.
The next year, the ready Velarras crossed the Ridgeback Mountains, defeating the Yagols in Leite Canyon, securing the Nibisi Plains.
Chapter Two
Ael's family, refugees in the tundra, encountered relentless wolves on their unhindered journey across vast plains. In such turmoil, the inevitable occurred.
A suffocating silence gripped the refugees, stifling even the smallest actions, fueling fear and despair as human nature turned ugly.
Once basic necessities, food and water now meant survival. In the darkest nights, they kept vigilant against the unthinkable: cannibalism among their own.
With order collapsing, the weak struggled alone, their numbers dwindling daily. It felt like they were living through a hellish legend come to life.
Hamira's parents had instilled integrity and courage in her—stand against the powerful, protect the weak. But now, fear and pleading filled their eyes.
They feared for their beloved sweety, pleading for caution. But as a Yagol, Hamira upheld principles ensuring her people endured.
She shielded the weak with her petite frame. Outsiders couldn't fathom her true thoughts; they saw her as the one needing protection.
Strangely, those around her were intimidated and left reluctantly. The Ael family never realized Mirren's oddities were divine will.
Chapter Three
After a long journey to escape famine, Hamira and her family arrive in Roostburg, where her father's craftsmanship helps them settle quickly.
Since then, they never leave the city. Thirty-two years later, her father dies of illness, followed soon by her mother, who dies from heartbreak.
At 40, Hamira, now without relatives, remains unchanged in appearance and is renowned as the ageless beauty of Roostburg throughout the South.
It's said that she is a deity's incarnation, born during the Ancient War. Her words can soothe souls, and her spirit is as pure as the driven snow.
The queen fulfilled her promise to restore order in Ciaran, improving life for the Orccodros and Lost Elves. Inspired by this, Hamira decides to return to war-torn Ciaran.
In Ciaran, she helps those in need in each city she visits. Her presence brings blessings, leading people to see her as a goddess of order.
Unbeknownst to them, Hamira is weary. Despite traveling the continent, she struggles to understand human nature, repeatedly facing the same problems for 300 years.
She eventually returns to Whispering Town, where she was born, only to find it has become a desert. When she is about to leave regretfully, she finds herself on the Ladder of Heaven. An angel with blue wings reaches to her.
"Hamira—"
When the angel speaks, Hamira sees her life flash before her eyes and feels an endless longing for this angel.
"I have waited long for you by God's command. You should now be called Homura."
The young girl, with wings and a halo, is filled with flames in her soul. As the Celestial Scribe, she begins a new journey.
Historical Notes
Dia:
Dia once descended without permission when she was newly born. Again, Jancis questioned angels' ability to fulfill their duties. Consequently, Jancis sought for a perfect being to uphold the order of the Heavenly Realm.
Ael:
Ael (22326–22382, Era of Rebirth), the foster mother of Homura, was upright and kind, though sometimes perceived as timid. She might have been an angel who, following Thilude's prophecy, saved Homura's father.
Deity's Blessing:
This deity might refer to Dia as the term historically referred to angels since the Ancient War, especially in the early stages of the Pact of Jancis. Helois' blessing from Dia was considered a deity's gift.
Helois:
Helois (22335–22382, Era of Rebirth), the Crown of the Frozen Peak, was nurtured by direwolves and discovered by the Velarra at seven. Velarra culture revered martial prowess, which made Helois, a paragon of strength and noble spirit, a prodigious general by thirteen. After the Permafrost Rebellion, she emerged as the new leader since the previous one left no heir. Her acclaim soared after receiving the divine blessing. By 22357, she unified Ciaran, becoming the Velarra's first queen and adopting Talier as her royal surname.
