Lust
Basic File
Personal Info
On the surface she is alluring and graceful, yet in truth she acts with ruthless efficiency, showing no mercy toward her enemies. Among explorers, Lust is well known for her decisive and lethal manner of dealing with threats.
As for her true capabilities, they remain as mysterious as her identity itself.
To this day, no reliable combat records concerning her can be found. Perhaps those who have witnessed her in battle have all vanished without a trace.
After all, as one of the Tower's principal operatives, without sufficient strength her position would be far more dangerous than sleeping beside monsters.
Of course, it may also be because she has long acted alone. Even those within the Tower might find it difficult to track her movements.
Chronicles
To be able to feel the beauty of this world once more is all thanks to her and to the Guardian.
Had she not spent all these years searching and striving, the miracle that befell me would never have come to pass.
She must have endured so much over the years. With almost no one she could truly trust, whatever hardships or setbacks she faced, she had to bear them alone.
Now I wish to do something for her as well—so that she may no longer be bound by that mission, and may instead seek out a life that truly belongs to her.
— Lenicia
I do not particularly approve of the way she handles certain trivial matters. Things that could be resolved easily through overwhelming strength, she prefers to approach by taking unnecessary detours.
But that is all. So long as the goal is achieved, how she chooses to act is her freedom.
Besides, she has now obtained true freedom. It is no longer within my power to influence her will.
For now, the only thing that interests me is how she will choose to shape her future.
— The Guardian
Lust is renowned within the Tower for her beauty, yet hardly anyone dares to court her.
There is something about her eyes—an unsettling power. The moment she looks at you, it feels as though every secret you carry has already been laid bare.
In her presence, one can hardly think of anything but showing proper respect.

Record
The name Lust is hardly unfamiliar within the expedition team. As one of the Tower's principal officers, her reputation has long spread throughout the Abyss.
Yet whenever the topic turns to matters concerning her, everyone seems to fall silent.
Aside from the rumors of her captivating beauty and her decisive, ruthless manner of action, few can think of anything more concrete about her.
It is almost as though she exists only within stories and hearsay. Even the Bladebeast that ambush explorers in the dark feel more tangible than she does.
When Lust learned how others perceived her, she merely smiled faintly. With a casual flick of her hand, several sheets of paper filled with assorted information turned to drifting ash.
"Living within rumors is something many people secretly dream of. And besides, the more mysterious a woman is, the more charming she becomes, would you not agree?"
From Lust's response, it was clear that she cared little for the opinions of others. She would simply continue to act according to her own will.
As for why, despite having joined the expedition team, many members still struggled to notice her presence—
The only explanation anyone could offer was that she was either extraordinarily discreet by nature... or possessed some peculiar aura of her own. Probably.
Anecdote
With a final, anguished howl, the massive monster collapsed to the ground.
The shadow stepped forward and, with practiced ease, removed the vital materials from its body before leaning against the fallen carcass to rest.
She looked down at the short blade in her hand, its edge already beginning to curl and dull, and could not help but furrow her brow.
She had gathered barely half of the materials she needed, yet the clues leading to more were already running dry.
At the thought of the ill-tempered companion waiting back at the castle, the shadow's frown only deepened.
"That is the final deadline. If you fail to gather enough materials, I will intervene myself and take the vitality required to replace them."
"No matter the cost, I will not allow our plan to be hindered."
The shadow knew her companion's nature well. Once she had spoken such words, she would surely act upon them. To her, so long as the plan was fulfilled, the means mattered little.
But the shadow found such methods far too cruel. Perhaps it was because she had spent too long among humans—whenever faced with such a choice, she always wished to seek a gentler path first.
Yet this time, that choice seemed futile. Even after exhausting every effort, she still could not gather the materials she needed...
The shadow returned to her stronghold, weary to the bone. She intended to send her subordinates out once more to search for new leads, yet before she could do so, she overheard their complaints.
"Those fools from the Guild have been raiding several of the Tower's warehouses lately. They made off with quite a few valuable goods. Damn them!"
"What can we do? Our leaders have all been occupied with the Iron Throne assignment lately. None of them have the time to deal with this."
"Sigh... we had better make preparations ourselves. Let's just hope the next warehouse they rob isn't ours."
The shadow considered their words for a moment, quietly weighing the situation. Then an idea came to her. If it succeeded, not only could she gather the materials she needed—she might also secure her own standing.
...
"What? We're really attacking that place?! That's the Guild's largest stronghold in this region!"
"Of course it's real! If Lady Lust has given the order, then the order stands!"
"Finally! After putting up with them for so long, it's our turn to strike! Lady Lust truly is brilliant!"
