A member of Nightfall Attendants, Rum is a junior steward from the prestigious Rothsbear family, sent to the Abyss to protect the family's young lady. However, at the lady's own directive, he soon began operating independently as an Explorer.

Rum is a skilled, cheerful man who treats everyone with unfailing courtesy.
He left a strong impression on everyone he crossed paths with. His reputation earned him numerous invitations from elite teams.
Currently, while still keeping an eye on the young lady's safety, he travels the Abyss to hone his skills.

I once worked with Mr. Rum on a mission. He had the kindest soul, always putting others before himself.
Coupled with his formidable skills and steadfast reliability, he was exactly the kind of person we wanted on our team.
No matter how hard we tried to persuade him, though, he kept saying he had more important duties to attend to. Honestly, what's more important than chasing treasures to an Explorer?

The boy earned the chance to serve the Rothsbear family. At the time, the family was searching for a study companion for the young lady, but none seemed suitable.

Though Rum had joined the team under the condition that "no matter the circumstances, the young lady's needs would always come first," since his arrival, he was rarely summoned to her side.

Without hesitation, he handed leadership of the mission to a senior Explorer and set off immediately for the location she specified.

Yet for Rum, that was enough.
