Mihal
Basic File
Personal Info
Mihal is an exceptionally capable Explorer, shining bright whether doing solo or in team settings.
Numerous squads have extended invitations to her, yet she responded to none. She is waiting for a team that captures her heart, unfazed by the ones vying for her attention.
Intelligence says that Mihal once attended a prestigious academy, yet voluntarily withdrew just before graduation. The reasons remain unknown.
Since embarking on her career as an Explorer, her mindset and approach offer an insight into her elite upbringing.
Yet she acts just like an easygoing, unpretentious individual (this is certainly no criticism).
She carries herself with generosity and warmth. Adaptable to change, the girl is never fussy about material comforts, quite a stark contrast to the typical spoiled heirs of influential families.
Chronicles
Mihal? The student who dropped out just three months before graduation? Yes. I remember her.
That girl was a beast. Aced every brutal training drill, finished assignments twice as fast as anyone else.
When she said she was leaving, half the faculty tried to talk her out of it. But none of us succeeded.
She said she couldn't afford tuition anymore. But come on, who'd believe that?
I met her parents once. Her father threw money around like it was nothing. Even among all the parents I've met, there aren't many who come close to him.

Oh, I know 'em! Lived all the way down this alley. Just her and her mother back then.
Scraped by on odd jobs, but the girl was full of life, tagging along wherever her mom went.
Then her father struck it rich in the Abyss and whisked them off. Whole neighborhood was green with envy!
But a couple of years later, they came back. (lowering voice) Turns out her no-good gambler dad blew through generations' worth of fortune!
Talk about rotten luck... Though they didn't stick around long. Heard they moved to the countryside and I never saw them again after that.

Record
Mihal quickly became one of them after joining the exploration team. Whether chatting with veterans or newcomers, she never missed a beat and conversed with them effortlessly.
On her first mission, she fit right in like she'd been part of the crew for years, syncing with the team's rhythm as if by instinct.
But this wasn't just adaptability; it spoke volumes about her upbringing and the top-tier education she once received.
Always the first to lend a hand (or volunteer for it), Mihal never hesitates to swoop in to help with even the smallest tasks.
During downtime, you'd often find her wandering off, hunting for the Abyss' most breathtaking sights.
Oddly enough, though, she never took notes or sketched what she saw, not even for her favorite discoveries.
According to her, "Some moments exist just for themselves. Experiencing them is enough."
Anecdote
Rumor had it a new landmark had popped up in a nearby Settlement. It was a ridiculously extravagant castle.
Naturally, Mihal was intrigued, enough to detour for a look during a supply run.
One glance was all it took for her interest to flatline.
"The location. The taste. These gaudy decorations... Yeah, I see how it is."
Some lucky soul must've tripped over a holy relic or a priceless treasure, then promptly blew the windfall on this architectural flex.
Rest assured, the owner will not just stop there.
Next up, they will probably fill the garden with stones encrusted with Originite and Opal, hang masterpieces just within view of passersby, and hire enough staff to stage an opera.
In short, every garish detail exists to proclaim their newfound nobility to the world.
But when Lady Luck turns her back, everything won't just return to normal. No, it'll be worse than where they started.
The taste of pleasure, once experienced, had its way of dragging them into the hell forged by desire the moment the bubble burst.
"What makes me think that, you ask? Heh. I had a sweet dream once."
