The Arbitrator Detective? O-Of course I've heard of her. Miss Marco is a highly intelligent, astute, and... convincing detective.
(lowering voice) But if you really want your problem solved, maybe try someone else.
Last time, my crew and I got into a little dispute over supplies, and she beat us all up. Reasoning is never her language. If she's made up her mind, you either agree or get punched.
What should've been a minor issue ended with... well, we had to pay her arbitration fee and our own medical bills.

Now, whether with her exploration team or beyond, she stands ready as the Arbitrator Detective.
Lost items? Trade disputes? Brawls or even murders? She will be on the scene immediately, determined to uncover the truth and deliver justice.

To her credit, this passion never interferes with her actual duties.
In fact, some teammates voluntarily follow her investigations...
Partly for the spectacle of her reasoning and partly to intervene when the detective decides to reduce an unsolved case into a mere "coincidence."

Anecdote

Marco has a ritual: before major decisions or verdicts, she pushes her monocle up, takes a dramatic breath, and declares her conclusion.
That monocle doubles as a comfort object. Stroking it steadies her during doubt and unease.

The trinket was given by a "client" of a childhood theft as thanks:
"You're just like the detectives in books! Here, a little token for your help."
That day planted the seed. Marco wanted to become a true detective who can help others with their troubles.

Now, setbacks abound.
But, a touch of the monocle still fortifies her resolve and gives her the courage to carry on.
