She has a deep fascination with legends, especially those about the Abyss. The moment she encounters anything or anyone tied to a myth, her excitement is downright contagious.

Lulu has always dreamed of becoming part of a legendary tale, one that people would praise for ages.
She put in plenty of effort to make it happen, but unfortunately, failed every time.
Still, she refuses to be discouraged. "If I can't be the hero", she figures, "then being the witness is still a feat to talk about."

Chronicles

That girl's been acting in plays with her father since she was little. Always so enchanted by those stories. Used to pester us nonstop, saying she'd explore the Abyss when she grew up.
Her father and I didn't take it seriously. Kids change their minds every other day, right?
Even when she got older and wanted to enroll in an explorer school, we didn't stop her. Most graduates never even see the Abyss, after all.
But... well, guess she takes after me. Once she sets her mind to something, there's no talking her out of it.

Lulu is well-liked within the exploration team, with members often offering to join her on missions.
As an Explorer, she's decently capable and consistent, but what really draws people in are her impromptu shows and magic tricks she performs between explorations.
She acts as the team's joy-bringer, making every journey feel lighter and far more fun.

Even the most mundane sights, such as Ports, Settlements, and Outposts, fill Lulu with wonder.
When something novel crosses her path, she's the first to dive in, chasing after the unknown with unshakable enthusiasm.
And nothing captivates her more than the Abyss' legends. Even the most overdone, cliché-ridden tales earn her full attention as if she's hearing them for the very first time.

Anecdote

Lulu wields a weapon surprisingly mismatched to her petite frame.
While eccentric armaments aren't exactly rare among Explorers, some of her teammates couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at her weapon choice.
"Oh, it's just... a promise I made to a friend," she'd say with a quiet chuckle.

Her first journey into the Abyss began alongside a handful of fellow Explorers she had met in her homeland.
Led by the seasoned Explorer Odile, they formed a tight-knit team. Chasing legends, braving battles, and plunging into perilous places together.
Life as an Explorer was everything Lulu had dreamed of: each day brimming with thrills and wonder.
Until they encountered a group of bandits.

That day, her friends were slaughtered, and though Odile fought fiercely her way out, her wounds eventually claimed her too.
Helpless in the face of it all, Lulu was swallowed by grief, fear, and a crushing sense of powerlessness.
"Turn your back and never look back, or face this cruel world head-on, and never lose faith in beauty." Odile had whispered to her at the end.

Lulu left her own sword as a grave marker for Odile and took her leader's weapon instead.
"With it in my hand, no matter how far apart we are, we'll always be together!"
She chose the latter path—to live boldly, carrying the hopes of those she had lost.
