Personal Info

Proud. Hot-tempered. Not the tallest, but with a presence that commands attention wherever she goes.
Gima's confidence in her skills borders on arrogance. She's always picking duels, and every victory sends her strutting through town like a prizewinning rooster.
If she loses, she'll hide her embarrassment with some excuse, then take some training in seclusion before coming back stronger, determined to turn that loss into a win.

As an Explorer, her temperament means teamwork's a rarity, reserved only for jobs too big to solo.
Intel also says that she cares deeply about an Explorer named Sybil. Gima tracks her every development like a hawk.

Chronicles

Miss Gima? Oh, she's practically a regular here, though not for the drinks. She always comes to ask the adventurers about someone named Sybil.
If anyone brings her news about Sybil, she's more than happy to buy them rounds all night. But if someone tries to mess with her? Well... it never ends well for them.
Not that I mind. Unlike those rowdy louts, she always pays for damages.
Plus, when she's around, any troublemakers think twice before causing trouble. She'll toss 'em out faster than they can blink.
— Tavern Owner

I'm not avoiding that fool. But meeting her would inevitably lead to a fight and we don't even have a reason to fight.
I noticed her the moment my family moved next to hers when we were kids. Bright, proud, blazing like the sun. Impossible to ignore.
Once she found out I could use magic, she kept challenging me, going on about how she'd prove she was the real prodigy. Since when is that a reason to fight?
I haven't seen her in years, but I've heard plenty. She hasn't changed at all. A fool who catches people's eyes like the sun.
— Sybil

I was an Explorer once, so I know exactly how deadly the Abyss can be. I never planned to raise her as one. I only taught her combat skills to broaden her horizons.
At least, before Sybil's family moved here, she'd never shown any interest in becoming one... Not that I blame that girl, of course.
I'll never forget how she looked after her first defeat at Sybil's hands. She came home crying, but once the tears dried, she trained harder than ever.
Later, when Sybil left for the Abyss with her father, Gima waited and waited... until she finally decided to become an Explorer herself.
That girl had never even left our little town, yet she was willing to charge straight into the dangerous place for a friend...

Record

Given her reputation as a lone wolf, the team had concerns when she joined.
She lifted those doubts with a flawless performance.
Most chalk it up to raw talent, which isn't wrong, but the sharper observers notice something else:
Before every mission, Gima studies her teammates' strengths in detail.
That knowledge, paired with her own skills, is what makes her glide through battles so effortlessly.

Miss Gima is all about her reputation. After any mission, you'll find her making rounds at taverns and marketplaces during downtime, spreading word of her exploits.
She said that she did it to get her "rival" Sybil's attention, making her so fed up with hearing her feats that she'd have no choice but to confront her.
But the results? Beyond livening up the atmosphere at various drinking establishments, her efforts appear largely ineffective.
But of course, that's her choice. We'll let her have her fun as long as it does nobody any harm.

Anecdote

Recently, several members reported sightings of a ghost near the team's base, causing quite a stir among the ranks.
But Miss Gima dismissed these claims with utter contempt. "Ghosts? You're all grown-ups! Don't tell me you actually believe in that nonsense."
"It's either mistaken for a ghost or you're seeing things. No ghosts in the world!"
To prove her point and "eliminate the threat," Gima decided to investigate the site that very night.

Under cover of darkness, Gima arrived early at the pond and hid herself under the tree shade.
Yet after hours of waiting, nothing appeared except a few wandering monsters passing by.
"Hah! See? There's no such thing as gho—" Just as Gima turned to declare her findings to the accompanying members, strange ripples suddenly disturbed the pond.
The tranquil surface began undulating, while enormous shadows materialized on the stone wall by the pond.
Before anyone could react, she launched an assault upon the shadows.
But when the dust settled, the shadows remained unharmed, and worse, more had appeared.
"G-ghosts..." Gima's voice betrayed tension, yet she intensified her attacks regardless.
"Wait, Gima! Look over there!"
Following her teammate's pointing finger, she spotted several monsters playing by the water and slipping in and out, creating ripples.
They were backlit by clusters of bioluminescent plants that projected their magnified shadows onto the rocks when darkness fell...

"So... was Miss Gima scared just now?"
"N-nonsense! I j-just wanted to show you that you saw nothing but illusions! They are not a big deal to me!"
