Personal Info

A noble-born young lady radiating grace befitting her station.
Her reserved demeanor when silent and selective conversational topics often lead others to assume she's haughty or unapproachable.
You know, the typical stereotype of aristocrats.

Yet, in truth, during exploration missions, she proves remarkably down-to-earth, never flaunting her lineage nor restricting her social circle to fellow nobles.
Mention a topic that piques her interest, and she'll chatter away with the enthusiasm of any ordinary girl.
Once accepting a mission, she commits wholeheartedly to excellence.
Those who've actually worked with her think highly of her.

Chronicles

Oh, that ice-cold princess? Hah, probably some spoiled noble brat bored enough to seek thrills in the Abyss.
Seen her type a hundred times. Too high and mighty to spare commoners a glance. Bother talking to them? Waste of breath.
But mark my words, the Abyss ain't some noble's playground. Once she learns her lesson, that will be too late to regret.

A princess? But... Lady Freya is the complete opposite. She's so polite and refined.
She travelled with our group for a while. Nothing like those arrogant aristocrats! However, now that I think of it, she did avoid talking about her past.
But who cares about status? All I know is that she's strong, graceful, and the kind of ally you'd trust with your life! I want to be like her someday!
— A Rookie Explorer

Even now, I see the Abyss as a cesspool of chaos that fits only for desperadoes. Freya becoming an Explorer is a disgrace to our family's honor.
Before, I'd have never permitted such a shameful choice. But after that incident... I've come to understand.
I am the family head and her father. The woman she's become was shaped by my upbringing. So, if this is what she wants to do, I shall stand by it.
Should shame follow, I'll bear that burden. She only needs to walk her chosen path unfettered.
— Freya's Father

Ah, yes... that household moved here around the time of the Three Dukes' rebellion? When the Capital was in chaos, and refugees could be seen everywhere...
They dressed plainly but carried themselves like old money, clearly once-important folk.
Stayed about a year. Vanished right around when the Prince returned to purge the traitor dukes...

Record

According to Freya, before joining, she'd already travelled extensively throughout the Abyss.
Sometimes solo, sometimes teaming up with fellow Explorers she met along the way, constantly seeking new challenges to hone her skills.
Her decision to join the squad came after a member disclosed the team's future travel plans during their first meeting, which included many regions she'd yet to explore.
The prospect of visiting these new areas, combined with the team's culture that valued exploration over fame or fortune, ultimately won her over.

However, one must question the wisdom of members casually discussing sensitive itinerary details with strangers on the first day they met...
While recruiting someone of Freya's caliber certainly justifies the risk (indeed, it was a gamble worth taking), I really should have a word with those loose-lipped members about discretion.

Anecdote

During a casual break, Freya played a tune on her instrument, and before she knew it, word of her musical talent had spread through the team.
"Freya can play! And she's amazing at it!"
After repeated requests from curious members, she finally agreed to give a small concert following that day's mission.

"Hah... Just a few pieces, and my fingers already feel stiff. Back home, I could practice for hours without fatigue. I must be rustier than I thought."
"No, I should be thanking you all. It's been so long since I played for an audience... This was truly delightful."
"Everyone seemed to enjoy it... Perhaps I could make this a regular occurrence?"
"No, no. Playing too would often grow tiresome and it might interfere with our duties."
"What about special occasions? Holidays, or after major missions? That way it stays meaningful, more members could attend, and—"
"Wait... I don't actually know that many songs! Everyone would get bored hearing the same limited repertoire!"
"My tutors were all royal court musicians. They only taught me those stuffy formal compositions. Far too rigid and repetitive for casual listening..."
"Next supply run, I'll browse the Settlement for sheet music. I must expand my range!"

That first impromptu concert left Freya visibly energized. She excitedly shared her plans and, true to her word, her performances soon became a tradition within the team.
It seems like she wouldn't mind talking about her noble background, when the moment felt right.
