Falcon
Basic File
Personal Info
The "legendary" Radiant Knight in a group called Wilderness Rangers.
Never heard of her? Well, the title is given by the founder of the very group, rather than by any legit king or official nobility.
When she first began taking on missions under this title, some Explorers poked fun at her.
Yet Falcon remained unbothered and steadfast in her ways, and over time, the name Radiant Knight gained widespread recognition.
With a carefree nature, the treasure hunter never hesitates to move on when faced with a difficult problem.
If there's no way around it, she would carefully weigh her options, instead of rushing to act.
But this nonchalance is replaced by meticulous caution in the Abyss, where Falcon never risks uncertain ventures.
Chronicles
I teamed up with Falcon for a while. Her skills are beyond question; only a handful of Explorers I know could match her.
But she's overcautious! Comes for treasure, then passes up opportunities just to play it safe. Wasted so many chances to strike it rich...
— A Self-Proclaimed Veteran
Miss Falcon often brings items to my shop for an examination. She's obsessed with their origins, composition, and related lore.
They're usually just odd-looking trinkets with little market value, but she treasures them regardless.
She is experienced enough to know they're not worth much. Perhaps her definition of "treasure" differs from ours.
— Treasure Trader
After she had an Explorer dream, I took her to the Abyss for training. Sharp as a tack, my girl mastered everything frighteningly fast.
Whether it's appraisal skills, treasure hunting, or pure combat ability, her progress stunned me. She'll surpass us all.
Most importantly, she is easily satisfied and knows when to walk away. Understands that no prize is worth your life.
Worried? Yes, sure. But I'm an Explorer too. I know how tempting the call of the Abyss is to us. So I taught her survival skills instead of getting in her way.
— Falcon's Father
Falcon is one of those rare souls unshackled by vulgar desires. The common masses could never comprehend her mindset.
That effortless grace when abandoning troublesome ventures? The unshakable poise amidst slander and rumors? Few possess such qualities.
In her, I see a brave, solitary soul. How? Never mind, the unenlightened wouldn't understand anyway.

Record
Before any team mission, Falcon inspects every preparation, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
This stark contrast between her usual relaxed demeanor and rigorous field protocols often leaves others wondering which version is the real Falcon.
When questioned, she offers a simple explanation:
Both of Falcon's parents were exceptional Explorers. One day, her mother made just "one small gamble" on a mission and never returned.
The loss left Falcon and her father shattered, something they both found hard to move past for a long time.
That's why, as an Explorer herself, Falcon compromises on everything except safety.
Since joining the team, Falcon has avidly gathered intel on treasures and never missed a single conversation about them.
Yet unlike most, she cares less about an artifact's value or special power it grants than its history and the tales surrounding it.
This peculiar passion explains why her collection boasts so many items of modest worth...
Anecdote
The team had hit a roadblock; our next mission required a rare mineral, yet despite scouring nearby settlements, not a trace could be found.
"I've checked every Outpost and Settlement in the area. No luck."
"Asked all teams around us, too. No one I've spoken to has even heard of it..."
"I've posted purchase notices, but no responses yet."
"Guess we'll have to mine it ourselves."
"From what I heard last time, its deposits are scattered around, with the nearest one being days away. We'd miss our deadline."
"Splitting up might save time, but with the powerful monsters guarding those veins, it's too risky with a small team."
"We run out of options..."
Silence settled over the group and everyone racked their brains for a solution.
Falcon strolled in, tilting her head at their grim expressions. "What's got everyone so glum? Any problem? Oh, by the way, brought something you might need."
She unwrapped her parcel, revealing a vividly colored ore.
"That's...!?" The team gaped at the stone, then at Falcon.
"Wait, was this what you were all stressing over?"
"Falcon, how did you—?!"
"You mentioned needing it for the mission a few days ago. I remembered spotting some during a treasure hunt, so I went back to grab a chunk."
"But... weren't there powerful monsters guarding it?"
"Hah! You guys are well-informed. Yeah, a few nasty ones. Took some effort to clear them out!"
Her tone was breezy, but the team knew better. "Some effort" was undoubtedly an understatement.
