Case 1

"Goddess of Death on the Battlefield". That's what people called Nephthys durin the unification war of Nebu.
As a valiant soldier under Nile's command, Nephthys is braver and more ruthless than anyone else on the battlefield. Suddenly one day, Nephthys disappeared. There were widespread rumors, but the truth was unknown. After the war ended, she became a widely circulated legend.
Nephthys reappeared after the publication of several biographies about her.
At first, people were delighted with her return, but this joy soon turned into doubt and incomprehension. Nephthys was covered by strange mechanical parts, and she lost her memory of the past.
The huge contrast in appearance even triggered rumors questioning her as an impostor.
All her confidants confirmed that she is the real Nephthys. What they recognized were her courage and loyalty to Nebu that remained intact even if she lost her memory.

Case 2

Nephthys didn't disappear in the war, but was badly wounded.
A bomb exploded close to her and blew her away. Although medics rushed to the scene quickly, they found the fatal injuries were so severe that they were unable to rescue her.
When the crowd was about to accept the tragic fact, Wadjet arrived and said "give her to me".
Some people objected, but no one had any other way to save Nephthys' life at that moment. Finally, Wadjet's proposal was unanimously approved. Nephthys was sent out of the battlefield.
As most of the people present at that time died in the battlefield, the details were unknown.
After being treated by Wadjet, Nephthys survived. However, she was paralyzed and lost her memory. Seeing the disabled Nephthys who was still determined to fight, Wadjet drew up a plan:
She would implant special mechanical fighting parts to replace Nephthys' lost body parts to enable her to fight for Nebu again.
Nephthys agreed with that plan without any hesitation.

Then I realized I was dreamingjust now.
I always have the same dream.
I dream that several people came to talk to me after I was blown away. I can't remember their appearances. That's probably the last thing my previous self saw.
