Hemetto possesses unparalleled foresight, but she lost her eyes as she tried to divine the fate of the Ancient One. The Ancient One with great power directly changed Hemetto's fate and effortlessly altered the future Hemetto predicted for herself.
Since then, Hemetto has set herself a rule not to peep into the fate of the Ancient One. The reason is that she is afraid that next time she will lose her life.
No matter how many times Hemetto divines, she can never see the bright future that once belonged to her. The blind and beautiful diviner is waiting for the person who is more powerful than the Ancient One to come to her. Hemetto is firmly convinced that person can modify her fate and future again.

Case 2

Hemetto does have the ability to predict, but she pays the price of being played by fate.
During the civil war, Hemetto was driven out of the village and forced to live in seclusion in the mountains because she predicted that Horus would unify Nebu. After that, she was targeted by careerists who tried to use her prescience. Hemetto, who was weak and blind, couldn't resist at all.
Wadjet rescued Hemetto from her misery. At that time, Hemetto foretold that she would be persecuted by wicked bandits and she was desperate. The arrival of Wadjet swept away all her despair.
Hemetto regards Wadjet as the one who will save her from her fate and presumes that Wadjet possesses the power to change the future she has foreseen. After all, even Hemetto can't foretell the future of this talented lady. Therefore, Hemetto decides to stay with Wadjet to admire the powerful Celestial at a close distance.

Case 3

Hemetto is unsociable and her social phobia is exacerbated by the hardships of blindness and exile. She was tired of being involved in disputes due to her prescience. After living in seclusion, she stops divining the fate of the Ancient One and even refuses to divine the world situation.
While avoiding contacting people other than Wadjet, Hemetto continues to divine for ordinary villagers. Hemetto doesn't charge after divining for the poor, so she is honored as the "Saint of the Desert" by local residents. Some people even worship her. But she doesn't do this out of good will. Apart from divination, Hemetto has no other hobbies or specialties. Meeting others and divining for them is just a way to change her monotonous daily life.
Even when she stays with Wadjet, Hemetto's fate keeps moving forward according to her predicted trajectory. So she can't help but lament.
